Hello and welcome to the first post in what I hope is going to be a great adventure.


 Let me introduce you to the team - you all know me - Jane, just turned 60 and now fulfilling a dream of taking a gap year, going travelling around Europe , heading for Greece to find a simpler life and reconnect with the natural rhythm of the world.


 My companion is Kye- a feisty little jack russell springer cross who has been my pal ( and my trial and tribulation in equal measure) for the past 5 years - obviously he has no idea of what is about to happen to him which is a good thing as he loves routine and security, so it will be interesting to see how he reacts over the next months! 


Our transport is Betsy - a Westfalia Nugget camper van- she is 17 years old, a bit of  a goer, and I think is going to be just perfect once I have worked out how she works. Photos will be posted once I learn how to use the new software, so it may take a while!


So, one month to go till departure, lots to do to get ready- it will be a busy month, so I will pop by every now and then to keep you updated with progress, till then, thanks for reading and talk soon.
