Dear All
Well, Ive tried facebook and am flirting with whats app but neither of them can connect me with all my dear friends and emailing photos individually would probably do for my trusty little notepad which has been with me since the early days. Plus you have all been kind enough to want to know what I am up to and as this feels like the first stage of a new phase in my life I have decided to post the occasional blog- but dont worry, wont be as frequent as the old days....
As many of you know I have been incredibly lucky to find a long term rental in my preferred part of Mojacar- how it came about is a story too long to go into now, suffice it to say that serendipity played a huge part and I feel blessed to have been brought here and to be in a little community of lovely people- Jan, his wife Esperanza, their two dogs and four or five cats, and Jans sister- Mica with her four lovely dogs who are always popping to see me. The set up is somewhat reminiscent of Lullings Farm without the cows and I know that I will be as happy here as I was there.
So with no more ado I will leave you with some photos - the house is a work in progress- ie a huge amount of sorting out to do and is nowhere looking its best but I didnt want to wait till its all done so here we are - still in a bit of a muddle. The view of the old town is taken from my back balcony which also looks over the valley where there can be the most amazing sunsets.
As you can see I still havent got the hang of putting the photos in the right place but I hope you enjoy them, at least you will have an idea of why I fell in love with this house.
Bye for now
